Johann Dächler, a farmer, his wife Maria Franziska, and children (Maria, age 18; Bonifacius, age 5; Georg, age 2) are recorded on the 1767 census of Seelmann in Household No. 51. They had settled there on 5 September 1767.

The 1767 census records that Johann Dächler came from the village of Lacorom [?] in the Alsace region.
