Dahlfuss
According to his memoirs of schoolmaster Johann Georg Möhring, while in route to Russia, his sister-in-law Barbara Stöslin von Stadling married in Magdeburg to druggist Andreas Dalfuss who had been born in the village of Znaim in Moravia.
Andreas Dalfuss, his wife Barbara, their children, and the Johann Georg Möhring family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the ship Die Neue Freiheit von Bremen under the command of Skipper Steingrawer.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Seelmann on 15 July 1767 and are is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 17 along with Barbara's mother Anna Stöslin (age 68).
The Möhring memoirs record that on 24 October 1774, the Kyrgyz raided the colony and Andreas Dalfuss, his wife, and daughters were taken captive.
The 1767 census records that Andreas Dalfuss came from the German village of Znaim in Moravia.
