Dar / Dorr
Nikolaus [Joseph] Dar, his wife Anna, daughter Marianna (age 4), and sister Katharina [Guldrich] (age 45) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Concordia under the command of Skipper Jakob Bauert.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Pfeifer on 15 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 25.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Nikolaus Dar was a farmer while the 1767 census records that he was a embroiderer using pearl (Goldsticker).
The 1767 census records that Nikolaus Joseph Dar came from the English town of Nottingham.
