Konrad Diehl, his wife Maria, and his sister Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Reders.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Köhler on 10 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 7.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Diehl was a baker while the 1767 census records that he was a farmer.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Konrad Diehl came from the German region of Laubach.
