The parish register of St. Bartholomäus Catholic Church in Buttenheim records that Johannes Dieterich from Dreuschendorf, son of Johannes & Anna Dieterich, married on 8 January 1753 to Anna Bayer from Hochstall, daughter of Johannes & Eva Bayer.
The following children were born to Johannes Ditterich & Anna Bayer: (1) Kunigunda, baptized 9 May 1758; (2) Johannes Mathias, baptized 20 September 1760; and (3) Barbara, baptized 5 November 1765.
The parish register of Mariä Himmelfahrt (Assumption of Mary) Catholic Church in Mistendorf records that before her marriage to Johannes Dietrich, Anna Bayer had an illegitimate son with Johannes Michael Saffenreuter from Strullendorf: Johannes, baptized 10 February 1749. [See Safenreiter Family.]
Hans Dietrich, a stonemason, his wife Anna, children (Kunigunda, age 9; Johann, age 7), and [stepson] Johannes [Safenreiter] (age 18) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 September 1766 aboard a pink named Лев (Lev) under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.
Hans Dietrich, a farmer, his wife Anna, children (Kunigunda, age 11; Johannes, age 9), and stepson Johannes [Safenreiter] (age 20) are recorded on the 1767 census of Preuss in Household No. 118. They had arrived in Preuss on 16 August 1767.
In 1788, Nikolaus Dietrich moved from Preuss to Seelmann.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Hans Dietrich was a mason while the 1767 census records that he was a farmer.
The 1767 census records that Hans Dietrich came from the German village of Dreuschendorf in the Bamberg district.
