Drexler (Köhler)
Johann Drexler, his wife Katharina, and children (Gertraude, age 16; Christoph, age 7-weeks) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard the pink Lev under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Köhler on 21 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 11.
In 1794, Johann Georg Drexler moved from Köhler to Hildmann.
Georg Drexler from Köhler and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Hildmann in Household No. Hd35.
Peter Drexler and his brothers, presumed to be children of Georg Drexler, are recorded on the 1834 census of Hildmann in Household No. 67.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Drexler was a stonemason from the German region of Mainz. The 1767 census records that he was a farmer from the German village of Seligenstadt in the Mainz region.
