Johann [Daniel] Eberhardt, a tailor (Schneider), and his wife Carolina arrived from Lübeck via Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 May 1766 aboard a pinque named Лапоминк (Lapomink - a Russian river) under the command of Lieutenant Dmitry Krykov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Brabander on 28 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No.28.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Eberhardt came from the German region of Mainz. The 1767 census records that Johann Daniel Eberhardt came from the German village of Kalzhof [?] in the region of Bupaterpronsk [?].
There are no known surviving male lines of this Eberhardt family among the Volga German colonies.
