Adam Eberhardt, a weaver (Weber), his wife Anna Elisabeth Rohr, and children (Johann Heinrich, age 11; Anna Barbara, age 8) are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 19. They had settled there on 2 December 1766.

The 1767 census records that Adam Eberhardt came from the German region of Nassau-Usingen.
