Eberlein (Seelmann)
Johann[es] Eberle [sic], a farmer, and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Kronshlot under the command of Skipper Ivan Kunakovskii.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Seelmann on 16 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 62.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Eberle [sic] came from the German region of Alsace. The 1767 census records that Johannes Eberlein came from the German village of Ton in the Kurpfalz region.
