Georg Heinrich Eckardt, his wife Anna Katharina née Fromm, and son Johannes Georg Christian (age 9) are recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 77 along with a note that son Johannes Georg Christian died in 1777.
The 1767 census records that Georg Heinrich Eckardt came from the German village of Klauser in the Hannover region and that Anna Katharina Fromm is from the German village of Glückstatt in the Holstein region. The 1776 Katharinenstadt Land Register records that Georg Heinrich Eckardt came from the German village of Klauser near Hannover and that his wife came from the German village of Glückstatt in the Holstein region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
