Philipp Etzberger and his sons (Johannes Philipp & Heinrich Anton) are recorded on the 1811 census of Straub in Household No. 24 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Neu-Straub [year not recorded].

Anton Etzberger from [Neu-]Straub and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Basel in Household No. 80.

Philipp Etzberger and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Neu-Straub in Household No. 40 along with a note that his brother Anton relocated to the colony of Basel.
