Peter Fauro, a farmer, and his wife Anna Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 August 1766 aboard the galliot named St. Johannes (Saint John) under the command of Skipper Carstens Stahl.
Pierre Fauro and his wife Maria Elisabeth are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Frank and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 41.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Pierre Fauro came from France. The 1767 census records that Peter Fuhrau came from the French village of Chez [?].
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
