Widow Christina Fazius and her sons (Philipp, age 10; Johann, age 5) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard a koff named Alette under the command of Skipper Wybe Hendricks.
Anna Christina Faciuss [sic] and her sons (Philip, age 11; Johann, age 7) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kukkus on 26 June 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 36 where Christina has remarried to widower Jakob Mittelhof.
The death of Philipp Fazius in 1816 is recorded on the 1834 census of Kukkus in Household No. 66.
In 1788, Johann Heinrich Fazius moved from Kukkus to Straub.
Heinrich Fazius is recorded on the 1811 census of Straub in Household No. 41 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Neu-Straub [year not recorded].
The death of Heinrich Fazius in 1817 is recorded on the 1834 census of Neu-Straub in Household No. 4.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christina Fazius came from the German district of Waldeck.
