Heinrich Feidel, a weaver (Weber), his wife Anna Katharina, and children (Anna Katharina, age 17; David Heinrich, age 15; Johanna Maria, age 12; Gottlieb, age 7) are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 12. They had settled there on 27 July 1767.

The 1767 census records that Heinrich Feidel came from the German village of Lübeck.

Anna Maria Feidel, also from Lübeck, is also recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 140 as the wife of Martin Kapel.
