Kaspar Feller, a farmer, and his wife Anna Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the galliot Johannes under the command of Skipper Stahl.
Caspar Voller [sic], his wife Anna Maria, and daughter Anna Cathrina (born en route) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Kaspar Feller, a farmer, his wife Anna Maria, and daughter Johanna Catharina (age ¾) are recorded on the 1767 census of Anton in Household No. 55. They had settled there on 1 September 1767.
Widower Kaspar Feller and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Anton in Household No. An50 along with a note that son Johannes Feller is working in Straub.
The death of Valentin Feller, son of Kaspar Feller, in 1817 is recorded on the 1834 census of Anton in Household No. 68.
Johannes Feller, son of Kaspar Feller, does not continue in Anton, nor does he appear in Straub. There is a Johannes Feller of approximately the appropriate age recorded on the 1834 census of Schaffhausen in Household No. 23.
The 1767 census records that Kaspar Feller came from the German village of Hirschfelde in the Hessen region.
