Konrad Fischer, a farmer, his wife Maria, and daughters (Anna, age 3; Margaretha, age ¾) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a barque named Fortitudo (Fortitude) under the command of Skipper John Scott.
Konrad Wiser [sic], a farmer, and his wife Maria Elisabeth settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 86.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Fischer came from the German region of Landsberg. The 1767 census records that Konrad Wiser [sic] came from the German village of Laubach.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Fischer family among the Volga German colonies.
