Fischer (Yagodnaya Polyana-1)
Johann Daniel Fischer, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the galliot Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.
Daniel Fischer, his wife Catharina, and sons (Johann Georg, age 4; Johann Adam, age 1) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Yagodnaya Polyana on 16 September 1767 and are there on the 1767 census in Household No. 16.
Heinrich Johannes Fischer from Yagodnaya Polyana and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Neu-Yagodnaya-Polyana.
The 1767 census records that Daniel Fischer came from the German village of Schotten.
