Johannes Fuldat, son of Johann Peter Fuldat, was born 12 May 1741; his godfather was also a Johannes Fuldat.
Johannes Folgard [sic], a cobbler, his wife Elisabeth, and daughter Christina (age 1¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 7 May 1766 aboard the galliot named Anna Katharina under the command of Skipper Daniel Heyer.
They arrived in the colony of Katharinenstadt on 5 March 1767, and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 90.
There is a note on the census indicating that they moved to the colony of Holstein in 1768, but they are not recorded there in 1798.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Folgart family among the Volga German colonies.
