Johann Peter Freiburg [sic], a leather worker (Lederarbeiter), and his wife Maria Elisabeth settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 7 August 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 7.

Peter Freiberg and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Meinhard in Household No. Mn02.

The descendants of Peter Freiberg are recorded on the 1834 census of Meinhard in Household No. 8.

The 1767 census records that Johann Peter Freiburg came from the Finish village of Åbo.
