Johann Georg Frickel, son of Hans Peter Frickel, was baptized 20 March 1729 in Roth. He married on 3 April 1755 in Roth to Anna Margaretha Günther, daughter of Johann Daniel & Maria Elisabeth Günther. She had been born 25 July 1735 in Roth.

The baptisms of several children to Johann Georg Frickel & Anna Margaretha Günther are recorded in the parish register of Roth: (1) Johann Conrad, baptized 16 March 1756; (2) Johann Friedrich, baptized 14 January 1760; (3) Anna Dorothea, baptized 3 December 1761; and (4) Eleonora Julia. Fred., baptized 16 March 1766.

Georg Frickel, a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha, and children (Konrad, age 12; Friedrich, age 9; Anna Dorothea, age 6; Eleonora, age ½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

Georg Frickel, a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha, and children (Konrad, age 12; Friedrich, age 9; Anna Dorothea, age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Balzer in Household No. 95. They had settled in Balzer on 8 August 1767.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Georg Frickel came from the German region of Isenburg.
