Discussion & Documentation:

Peter Friedrichs, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Nikolaus, age 16; Johannes, age 15) arrived from Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum aboart the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

Surviving son Nikolaus (age 17) is recorded on the 1767 census of Leitsinger in Household No. 26 along with Johannes Pilen and his family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Pilen and Friedrichs families.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Peter Friedrichs came from the German region of Trier.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Friedrichs family among the Volga German colonies.
