Johann Philip Funck from Sennenroth & Eliesab. Margaretha Becht of Gunterskirchen were married on 28 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.
Philipp Funk, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth Margaretha, and his mother Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767. Philipp is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 44 along with his new wife, Anna Margaretha, and her son Georg Philipp [Waltz].
Bartholomaus Funk from Krasnoyar and his family are recorded on the 1834-1850 Messer Family List in Household No. 237.
Heinrich Funk from Krasnoyar and his family are recorded on the 1862 census of Gnadendorf.
Johannes Funk from Krasnoyar and his family are recorded on the 1862 census of Gnadendorf.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Philipp Funk came from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that Philipp Funk is from the German village of Ulrichstein near Darmstadt.
