Funkner
Kilian Funkner, a farmer, his wife Magdalena, children (Magdalena, age 18; Jakob, age 9; Martin, age 4; Christoph, age 1½), and his sister-in-law Margaretha (surname not recorded) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Mann und Frau under the command of Skipper Daniel Berg.
They setttled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 33.
The 1767 census records that Kilian Funkner came from the German village of Niklashausen near Wertheim. The Oranienbaum passenger list records that he came from Franken (Franconia).
