Kilian Funkner, a farmer, his wife Magdalena, children (Magdalena, age 18; Jakob, age 9; Martin, age 4; Christoph, age 1½), and his sister-in-law Margaretha [surname not recorded] arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard the ship Mann und Frau under the command of Skipper Daniel Berg.
Kilian Funkner, a farmer, his wife Magdalena, and son Jakob (age 10) are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 33. They had arrived in Warenburg on 12 May 1767.
The 1767 census records that Kilian Funkner came from the German village of Niklashausen near Wertheim. The Oranienbaum passenger list records that he came from Franken (Franconia).
