Galliart
Georg [Friedrich] Galliart, a cobbler (Schuster), and his wife migrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) in 1762.
They were dismissed from their obligations there on 10 June 1763 and joined the migration to Russia.
They arrived from Danzig at the port of Oranienbaum on 20 May 1766 aboard the galliot Die Hoffnung under the command of Skipper Johann Heschke.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Beideck and are recorded there on the 1775 census in Household No. 25.
The 1798 census of Dreispitz records them in Household No. Dr29.
Andreas Galliart from Dreispitz and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Kana.
Both the Eichhorn research and the Oranienbaum passenger list record that Georg Galliart came from the German region of Württemberg.
