Heinrich Gideon and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Messer on 7 July 1766.  They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 19.

Heinrich Gideon and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kratzke in Household No. Kr17.

The death of Heinrich Gideon in 1825 is recorded on the 1834 census of Kratzke in Household No. 29.

Georg Philipp Gideon from Kratzke and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Ährenfeld.

Their son, Heinrich, moved to Kratzke where he and his family are recorded on the 1798 census in Household No. Kr17.
