Georg Glasony and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the ship under the command of Skipper Johann Gottfried Seelender.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Dehler on 1 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 13.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Glasony was a painter while the 1767 census records that he was a cobbler (Schuhmacher).
The 1767 census records that Georg Glasony came from the village of Berenbach in the region of Kurmainz. Berenbach is actually located in a region that was historically administered by the Electorate of Köln (German: Kurköln). This location needs further investigation.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
