There are two Glock families that settled in the Volga German colony of Preuss on 15 July 1767. They had both arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Junger Friederika under the command of skipper Christian Korsholm.
(1) Johann Nikolaus Glock, a farmer, and his wife Susanna (along with her son from a previous marriage, Heinrich Messer) immigrated to Russia. Only Susanna and her son survived the journey and are recorded on the 1767 census of Preuss in Household No. 132.
(2) Heinrich Glock, a clerk (Schreiber), and his wife Maria Elisabeth are recorded on the 1767 census of Preuss in Household No. 2. Both Heinrich and his wife are too old to have children when they settle in Preuss, so this Glock family is not known to continue among the Volga German colonies.
The 1767 census records that both of these families came from the German village of Stierstadt in the Kurmainz.
