Grünbaum
Johann Friedrich Grünbaum, a single dyer (Färber), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 September 1766 aboard the galliot Der Jan under the command of Skipper Markus Dragun.
Johann Fridrich Grünbaum is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 116.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Friedrich Grünbaum came from the German region of Thüringen. The 1767 census records that Gottfried [sic] Grünbaum came from the German village of Erfurt.
