Discussion & Documentation
Johann [Just] Krebe, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Ernestinendorf on 3 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 45.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Krebe came from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that he came from "Burg Gemünden."
