Johannes Krefeldinger, a farmer, arrived in the Volga German colony of Chasselois on 2 August 1766. He is recorded on the 1767 census of Chasselois in Household No. 20 along with a note that he left his wife behind in Germany.
Following the destruction of Chasselois, the Krefeldinger family relocated to the colony of Louis.
The death of Johannes Grefeldinger in 1834 is recorded on the 1834 census of Louis in Household No. 30.
In 1860, widow Elisabeth Grefeldinger and her family moved from Louis to Liebental.
The 1767 census records that Johannes Krefeldinger came from the German village of Saarlouis in the Lothringen region (France).
