The marriage of Johann Georg Günther to Susanna Degin [sic], daughter of Martin Degin [sic], is recorded on 7 September 1762 in the parish register of Eggebek-Jörl [Denmark].

Georg Günther, a farmer, and his wife Susanna settled in the Volga German colony of Reinwald on 14 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 7.

Susanna Krämer née Tege, the widow of both Georg Günther from Reinwald & Christoph Krämer, and her family are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Households No. Ka120 & Ka126.

The 1767 census records that Georg Günther came from the German village of Liebenzell in the Württemberg region and that his wife Susanna came from the German village of Sulzbach in the Pfalz region.
