Johannes Haag [sic] from the area of Würtenberg [sic] & Maria Christina Lauth from Laubach were married on 1 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.
Johann[es Friedrich] Haar and his wife Maria Christina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard the Russian pink Vologda under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Bartenyev.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 90.
The 1798 census of Krasnoyar in Household No. Ks057 records that Johann Peter Haar was in Pokrovsk (Engels) studying to become a cobbler.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Haar was a baker from the German region of Württemberg. The 1767 census records that he was a farmer from the German village of Winden in the Württemberg region.
