Widower Karl Hahn, a military officer (Offizier), settled in the Volga German colony of Galka on 20 August 1767. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 61.
The 1767 census records that Karl Hahn came from the town of Riga in Livland.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Hahn family among the Volga German colonies.
