Konrad Hauerich, his wife Anna Katharina, and sons (Johannes, age 3; Johann Just, age 1) are recorded on the 1775 census of Norka in Household No. 154.

They are recorded on the 1798 census of Norka in Household No. Nr161.

Adam Hauerich from Unterdorf and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Ährenfeld.

The 1891-1905 Norka Communion Register records several Haurich families living in Balzer.

Translations of early documents with this surname record it as Khauri, Gauri, or Gauer, but later documents clearly record this family as Hauerich or Haurich.
