Johann [Heinrich] Heiland, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard a koff named Alette under the command of Skipper Wybe Hendricks.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Kukkus on 26 June 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 12 along with his wife Maria Elisabeth.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Heinrich Heiland came from the German district of Worms.
