Daniel Heilmann, a guilder (Vergolder), his wife Maria Katharina, and stepdaughter Anna [surname not recorded] (age, 1) settled in the Volga German colony of Leitsinger on 19 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 59 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Brabander in 1768.

The 1767 census records that Daniel Heilmann came from the German region of Würzburg.
