Heim (Seelmann)*
Nikolaus Heim, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Kronshlot under the command of Skipper Ivan Kunakovskii.
Nikolaus Heim, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Katharina, age 9; Jakob, age 8; Wilhelm, age 1) are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 68. They had settled in Seelmann on 16 August 1767.
Jakob Heim and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Seelmann in Household No. Sm06.
The 1767 census records that Nikolaus Heim came from the German village of Manderscheid in the region of Trier.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Heim family among the Volga German colonies.
