In 1796, Joseph Heinschenk and his family moved from Leichtling to Husaren.
Joseph Heinschenk, his wife, and daughter Christina Bruhl née Heinschenk are recorded on the 1798 census of Husaren in Household No. Hn07.
The 1767 census records that Joseph Heinschenk came from the German village of Straubing.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
