Christoph Heitzenröder, a farmer from the district of Isenburg, his wife Anna, and son Johann (age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of skipper Thomas Fairfax.

They settled in the colony of Balzer on 18 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 75.

In 1790, Christoph Heizenröder and his family moved from Balzer to Kukkus.

Christoph Heitzenreder and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kukkus in Household No. Kk30.

The death of Christoph Heitzenreder in 1817 is recorded on the 1834 census of Kukkus in Household No. 62.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Christoph Heitzenreder came from the German region of Isenburg.
