Johann Heinrich Held, son of Johann Martin & Anna Held, married 28 February 1741 in Georgenhausen to Anna Eva Wagner, daughter of Johann Christian Wagner & Anna Magdalena Beck. She had been born 5 June 1720 in Georgenhausen.

The births of the children of Johann Heinrich Held & Anna Eva Wagner are recorded in the parish register of Georgenhausen: (1) Johann Jakob, born 23 August 1742; (2) Elisabetha, born 5 October 1744, died 28 August 1745; (3) Catharina, born 30 August 1746; (4) Johann Valentin, born 6 September 1748; (5) Augustinus, born 22 November 1751, died 22 December 1751; (6) Johann Ulrich, born 9 December 1752; (7) Anna Maria, born 2 June 1756; and (8) Ludwig Ernst, born 18 September 1759.

They immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) and settled in the colony of Neubörm.

From Denmark, they immigrated to Russia arriving in Dönhof on 2 July 1766. Father Johann Heinrich Held, serving as the Beisitzer (vice-mayor) of Dönhof, is recorded on the 1767 census of Dönhof in Household No. 2 along with his wife Eva and children ([a] Anton, age 15; [b] Johann Philipp, age 5). Son Johann Jakob Held, a farmer, his wife Eva [Störger], and son [c] Johann Michael (age 3) are recorded on the 1767 census of Dönhof in Household No. 25.

[b] Johann Michael Held and his wife are recorded on the 1798 census of Dönhof in Household No. Dh019.

[c] In 1793, Philipp Friedrich Heldt and his family moved from Messer to Franzosen.

Philipp Heldt from Messer and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Franzosen in Household No. Fz14.

The death of Philipp Heldt in 1823 is recorded on the 1834 census of Franzosen in Household No. 22.

The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Held and his family came from the German region of Darmstadt.
