In 1771, widow Anna Maria Herr moved from Boisroux and married Andreas Schäfer in Philippsfeld. She took her son Christian with her.

The 1798 census of Philippsfeld records widow Johanna [sic] Maria Schäfer in Household No. Pp07 and that she is living with relatives in Basel where her son Christian Herr is working.
