August Hessemar, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the ship Der Junge Heinrich under the command of Skipper Heinrich Niemann.
He arrived in Oranienbaum along with the Johannes Schaller family and is believed to be recorded with them on the 1767 census of Ober-Monjou in Household No. 41 as Philipp Hessemar. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Hessemar and Schaller families.
In 1783, August Philipp Hessemar and his family moved from Ober-Monjou to Saratov.
Neither the Oranienbaum passenger list nor the 1767 census record from where August/Philipp Hessemar came.
