Daniel Hinsch, a farmer, his wife Martha, and daughter Elisabeth (age 12) are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 44. They had settled there on 17 August 1767.
The 1767 census records that Daniel Hinsch came from the German region of Amberg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
