Johann Konrad Hipp (age 17) is recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 115 along with his step-father Kaspar Kraft (age 30). The 1776 Katharinenstadt Land Register also records that Johann Konrad Hipp died in 1783.
The 1776 Katharinenstadt Land Register records that Johann Konrad Hipp came from the village of Oranienbaum in the region of Anhalt-Dessau.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Hipp family among the Volga German colonies.
