Johann Peter Hoch, his wife Katharina, and sons (Christoph, age 35; Nikolaus, age 28) are recorded on the 1798 census of Frank in Household No. Fk137.

The deaths of father Peter Hoch in 1807 and son Christoph in 1799 are recorded on the 1811 census of Frank in Household No. 137.

The death of Nikolaus Hock in 1829 is recorded on the 1834 census of Frank in Household No. 294.

The 1767 census records that Johann Peter Hock came from Meiningen in Saxony.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Hoch family among the Volga German colonies.
