Johann Heinrich Hof(f)mann, son of Johann Adam Hoffmann (31 August 1704 - 12 August 1771) & Anna Maria Helmstädter (18 July 1708 - 27 October 1752), was born about 1740 in Langen-Brombach.
Johann Heinrich Hofmann married on 22 October 1765 in Michelstadt to Margaretha Elisabeth Göttman from Kirch-Brombach. Following their marriage, they resided in Langenbrombach.
They immigrated to Russia and settled in the colony of Frank on 1 September 1767. Johann Heinrich Hoffmann, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and daughter Maria Katharina (age ½) are recorded there on the 1767 census Frank in Household No. 90.
