Jung (Seelmann)*
Heinrich Jung, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Kronshlot under the command of Skipper Ivan Kunakovskii.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Seelmann on 24 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 73.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Heinrich Jung came from the German region of the Pfalz. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Kappeln.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Jung family among the Volga German colonies.
