Wilhelm Jung, a farmer, his wife Margartha, and daughter Anna (age 5) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Maria Sophia under the command of Skipper Johann Bauert.
Wilhelm Jung, his wife Anna Margreta, and daughter Anna Barbara (age 5) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that daughter Anna Barbara died en route.
