There are several Kaiser families that settled in Norka. At this time, it is not known if/how they are related to one another.
According to the Wolferborn parish records, Johann Michael Kaiser, son of Johann Kaiser of Michelau, and Elisabetha Schneider, daughter of Johann Melchior Schneider of Michelau, were married there on 12 March 1711. Among their children was Johann Thomas, who was baptized on 19 August 1725. There is no marriage record for Thomas in the Wolferborn parish records, so he must have departed for Russia as a single man.
He arrived in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 Census, along with a young wife, Christina, in Household No. 108.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Kaiser family among the Volga German colonies.
