Johannes Kaiser (age 12) settled in the Volga German colony of Reinwald on 14 July 1766. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 41 along with his stepfather, Johann Heinrich Hersteinkorn.

The 1767 census records that Johann Kaiser came from the German region of Büdingen.
